Dr. C. Muthunagai is an accomplished Ayurvedic physician with over 20 years of clinical experience. A gold medalist in MD Panchakarma (Therapeutic Bio-Cleansing), she is known for her compassionate approach and dedication to patient care. Her expertise spans a wide range of health conditions, including musculoskeletal disorders (such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and cervical/lumbar spondylosis), skin ailments, women’s health issues (PCOS, fibroids, adenomyosis, and infertility), and metabolic disorders like diabetes and obesity.

While Ayurveda is widely recognized for managing chronic conditions, Dr. Muthunagai has also distinguished herself in treating acute illnesses successfully. She has effectively managed COVID-19 cases, dengue-induced thrombocytopenia, and respiratory conditions such as asthma and allergies, helping patients safely discontinue long-term inhaler use.

Dr. Muthunagai is an active researcher, with multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals. She has presented papers at national and international conferences, covering topics like Ayurvedic approaches to female infertility, end-stage renal disease, thyroid disorders, and public health management of dengue fever. She was honored with the Best Paper Award for her conceptual   research paper on Ayurvedic rehabilitation of Parkinson’s disease.

Passionate about knowledge-sharing, Dr. Muthunagai serves as a guest speaker at various academic platforms, delivering lectures on Ayurvedic nutrition, respiratory disorders, and clinical case studies on COVID-19 management. She also imparts hands-on clinical training to Ayurveda students and practitioners at Heritage Ayurveda Clinic. Additionally, she has contributed to media awareness, directing a short film titled “In Harmony with Universe” on the concept of One Health in Ayurveda, which was showcased at the World Ayurveda Congress.
